Ante - Natal Clinic

Run by the midwife on Wednesdays 09:00 to 11:10 by appointment. The midwife can be contacted at Antenatal clinic on 0191 333 2333

Baby Immunisation Clinic/ Child Health Clinic

Run jointly by the health visitor, practice nurse and doctor between 10.45 - 12.00 on the first Thursday of the month.

He health visitor can be contacted on 01207 214710

Family Planning and Coil Fittings

Arranged with the doctor/nurse

Dietetic Clinic

Run by Dr Prestwich

Physiotherapy Clinic

Day and time may vary with different Physiotherapists; patients can self-refer to this service.

Counselling Clinic/CPN Clinic

Only patients referred by the doctor will be seen in this clinic.  Times of clinic may vary.

Asthma and Chronic Chest Disease Clinic

Run by the asthma nurse, Susan Lightfoot. Patients may refer themselves to this clinic. 

Chiropody Clinic

Run by the chiropodist every Monday and occasionally other afternoons between 13:00 – 16:00 by appointment only.  Patients are to be referred into this service by the doctor.

Cryotherapy

We are able to remove warts, verrucas and other minor skin lesions by liquid nitrogen therapy.  This is available by arrangement with the doctor.  Patients must have seen the Doctor before an appointment at this clinic can be arranged. The Practice Nurse also does Cryotherapy on some simple lesions.

Please make your own arrangements with the practice nurse.

INR Clinic (for patients who are taking Warfarin)

Run by Susan Lightfoot on a Tuesday morning between 08:00 and 12:00. 

Heart Disease Clinic/Hypertension Clinic

Run by the practice nurse during normal surgery time.  The nurse will arrange an appointment for you to attend. 

Dispensing Review of Use of Medicines Clinic

Run by Susan Lightfoot, nursing assistant and dispenser.
